I know this is titled Chocolate Pot de Creme and the picture is of my beautiful step-daughter but they're related.
I made the Pot de Creme for us to eat along with sandwiches for my step-sons final baseball tournament before he graduates from high school. I wrapped them in plastic wrap and put them in an ice filled cooler. Everyone was super impressed with my skills (that's right, dawg) of making and then bringing them to the game. Guess it was a little bit fancy for a game but it was so fun. I had to go all over tarnation (read: three different stores) to find Mexican chocolate for the recipe, which I only used a little bit of and now will have for the rest of my life. (insert eye roll) I also decided that this is the reason I seem to have 9 Ramekins of different sizes. Try the recipe, it's good, like extra special chocolate pudding. It's worth it but I am sure you can make it with something besides Mexican chocolate.
